Camp Carl + Ehko + Friends = What If...

"What If..." is a chance to spend a week with your closest friends exploring what it could mean if an amazingly powerful and incredibly personal God wanted to know you & your friends.  It's a week to have crazy Camp Carl fun.  A week to make new friends.  A week to build your summer around.

it combines

Camp Carl

All the fun and zany staff will be leading us through an awesome week.  Camp Carl's facilities include a swimming pool, climbing wall, paintball, tubing, sports facilities, capture the flag, and much more.  Every year over a thousand youth descend on Camp Carl, experiencing first hand all of its fun.  And they return for more year after year.

Ehko Friends
Your favorite (and only) co-directors will be out there with you for the week (and we all know they're a bit weird...in a good way).  And, more importantly, a lot of your friends from Akron and Green will be there, too.  We'll all add some Ehko spice to an already exciting week.

Other Friends
If you're an Ehko regular, we've designed this week as an easy opportunity to introduce your friends to the God who you live for.  If you're new to The Chapel, we're hoping that you'll explore with us for a week what it could mean that the One who created you has a purpose for your life.  Our chapel times for the week will be relevant whether this is your first time hearing about God's immense love for the world or you've heard it all your life.

We've made this week such friend-friendly week, that if you normally come to The Chapel, you need to bring someone that doesn't in order to be able to join us.  We really desire for everyone to have the opportunity to hear about who God is...not just those of us that hang around here all the time.

How is this different from the other weeks of Camp Carl?
There will be a lot of similarities to a normal week at Camp Carl.  The regular counseling staff will be heading up the cabins.  Programming and activities will look very similar.  However, our Ehko staff will be leading the chapel times each day.   Also, there will only students from Ehko and their friends attending.  The week is not open to the general public (unless they're invited by an Ehko student).

Who will be overseeing cabin groups and programming?
The regular Camp Carl staff, headed by Mike and Sherri Landis, will be providing all of the camp counselor aspects of the week for us.  The staff there has years of experience and dedicated training time spent toward making each week of camp the best possible.

How does Ehko continually provide such cool programming?
