Kurt Letner is Ehko's brains. He hails from the great state of Pennsylvania where no one is nearly as tall as Joel, but everyone is much wider. He also graduated from Malone College in 2004 with a degree in Youth Ministry. He comes our way having pastored his own youth ministry for the past 3 years in Mechanicsburg, PA. He is also happily married to his beautiful wife, Megan and they have a wonderful white fluffy dog named Lizzy. They don’t have any kids yet, but plan to in the near future.
Kurt’s is excited to be a part of the Ehko team and is eager to support and serve in anyway possible. His passion is to see Ehko’s ministry running smoothly and touching many students lives for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Although he is not as funny or good-looking as Joel or Eric or Lydia, he does claim to be more dorky. Evidence of his dorkiness can be seen by his exciting past-times which include geocaching (a fun sport you play with a GPS unit), playing table tennis, juggling, coming up with really cheesy sayings, and solving ridiculously hard puzzles. In fact his main claim to fame is being able to do the Rubik’s Cube in less than 2 minutes.
He also greatly enjoys listening to Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot, Skillet, and Third Day. In addition to listening to music and doing his Rubik’s Cube you may also find Kurt watching LOST, HOUSE, any of the Spider Man movies, any of the Lord of the Rings movies, or any of the Star Wars movies.
While serving as part-time ministry assistant to Ehko, Kurt is also pursuing his Master's Degree in Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary. He has been on staff at The Chapel since the fall of 2007.
