Eric Douglas Hays is the Director of Jr. High Outreach at The Chapel.  He graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Media Production and a minor in Philosophy.   He went on to complete the internship program at The Chapel, receiving his Master's of Arts in Religion from Trinity and became a licensed pastor through the Chapel in January of 2008.  He and his amazing, beautiful wife Adrianne have been married for 5 years and are expecting their first child in October.

 

Eric's heart for students is evident all the time.  He both readily relates to them and challenges them in their walk with Christ.  He's served as in his role of Middle School Director since the winter of 2006/2007, and has been on staff at The Chapel since the spring of 2004. 

 

Eric loves leading others in worship through song, and loves to help students to grow as musicians.  He also is an avid Cleveland sports fan.  He loves to laugh, but his main joy in life is seeing people fall in love with Jesus.
